I picked up MY camera and headed to Spain to follow my dream
That was over 30 years ago. I’d just graduated from Birmingham University with a Economics degree but I decided to pick up my camera and follow my passion. I’m so glad I did as I’m still doing what I love and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon.
I feel so lucky that my work is my hobby and I truly enjoy creating photographs for amazing businesses and brands.
My time in Spain was where my love of photography really grew. Working on magazine editorial shoots and photographing the life and colour of the country I arrived back in the UK as a photographer. And I’ve been one ever since.
Back then, I worked with a film camera and even had a darkroom in my north London home. As much as I’m nostalgic about film photography, I truly love digital photography.
Like all industries, technology keeps me on my toes. It’s vital that I keep up to date on the latest processes, techniques and equipment and right now I’ve never felt better about creating digital images.
People know a good photo when they see one and I get such a thrill knowing that I’ve captured the perfect moment or the perfect ‘look’. All my clients are amazing and it’s an honour to bring their work to life through images.
